About Us

Founded in 2015 by Kelly Zochling (Sydney based Mum of 3), Nanny Peacock Connect is an ‘elite’ online Platform for Professional Australian Families and Carers to connect, setting the benchmark in the industry.
With childcare costs skyrocketing and waiting lists years long, hiring a Professional Nanny to provide one on one care is becoming an attractive option for a lot of parents. Our website is a unique tool to find Professional Nannies and Child Carers (predominately Sydney based).
As we are not an agency, we urge all families to do their own interviewing and reference checking, as well as sighting relevant documents and certificates before hiring a Carer.

Nanny Peacock Connect is for

  • Professional Carers (Nannies, Babysitters and Childcare Educators) looking for work
  • Families looking for a Professional Carer
  • Families looking for a Live in Au Pair
  • Au Pairs looking for a Live in role
  • Nanny Share & Mummy Nanny arrangements
  • Childcare Providers looking for Staff
  • Families looking for Childcare vacancies

How does it work?

NPC is not an agency, but a platform for Nannies and Parents to ‘connect’. Its a job board where families can post an advert and applicants apply directly to the family. This allows the family to manage the recruitment process from start to finish, which a lot of people are now preferring to do, not only save money but to have more control with such an important role as someone looking after your child/ren. This includes interviewing, reference checking and sighting certifications etc.
Carers are also welcome to post a profile on our website and have families contact them directly for FREE! To have your profile or advert published on our website, please submit the form on the Parent Registration and Nanny Registration pages on the website.
To advertise on NPC all Carers must have a Working with Children Check (your state equivalent), current First Aid Training and min 2yrs experience within the industry

Interviewing & Reference Checking

Please note, we are not an agency and the Carers on the Website have not been interviewed or reference checked. We advise you to always meet with the potential employee before using their services and conduct your own thorough interview and reference checking procedure.

Working with Children Check

It is mandatory that Carers working with children hold a current Working with Children (or your state equivalent). If you have not already obtained this check, please go to the Resources page for further information and how to apply. There is no single national framework setting out the requirements for obtaining Working With Children Check. Each state and territory has their own procedures and it is necessary to fulfill the requirements in the jurisdiction(s) in which you are working. We urge all Parents to ask potential employees for their WWCC, as our Services are purely to help you connect with Carers and we have not sighted or verified any certificates or checks.

Please be sure to read our Terms and Conditions to feel confident when using our services.
